Hi, I'm Esther.
I design for equitable futures.
With a background in systems engineering, analytics, and social design, my design approach is grounded in humility and trust-building, and fuelled by a strategic understanding of the systems that surround us.
I lead product design at Endowus, for Singapore and Hong Kong markets, and across everything from regulated onboarding and money movement to new asset classes, growth, and AI. Previously at Shopify, I worked on helping merchants worldwide grow their business across channels like Facebook, Instagram and Google.
Before that, I worked at GovTech Singapore designing for public good. I've also designed both enterprise and consumer products at IBM Interactive Experience, and freelanced for various startups and non-profits.
My career has spanned multiple disciplines and industries, but wherever I go, I strive towards building a more caring and inclusive world through the lens of design.
I hold a Master's degree in Design for Social Innovation, and actively volunteer with organisations supporting community-led initiatives towards social good.
I've ran a programme design workshop for charities, co-creation workshops with persons with disabilities, adventure trails with residents to improve their neighbourhood space, as well as facilitating ideation activities on reimagining end-of-life care.

I was previously an adjunct lecturer at Nanyang Technological University, and have conducted design workshops and talks around the world.
Outside work hours, you'll find me hosting food and craft-based experiences from our home, making food for friends and family, and honing my pottery and sewing skills.
